Nestlé is to add an orange variant to its KitKat Kubes offering and it has given Smarties a new twist with a Fruity format which will see the brand’s first foray into the sugar arena.
KitKat Orange rolls out from early next month and will be available in a 50g impulse pack (rsp: 37p) for a limited period, while a 175g hanging bag (£1.25) will be a permanent addition to the Kubes sub-brand.
Fruity Smarties, in both impulse and hanging bag formats, are set to debut at the end of May with a £4m spend and are a new twist on the old favourite with the usual chocolate centres replaced by a fruit flavoured chewy centre.
