Nestlé Rowntree is enabling children to try out new activities during the approaching school summer holidays as well as giving parents a bit of peace and quiet with its Kids Go Free promotion.
Kicking off on 26 June, the promotion gives kids of all ages the chance to take part in sessions of either swimming, tennis, dancing, bowling or martial arts at more than 1,700 venues throughout the UK. A TV and radio campaign will support the promotion.
Two tokens are required for each activity, with single bars featuring one token, hanging bags three tokens and multipacks four tokens. Products include Fruit Pastilles, Fruit Gums, Smarties, Drifter and Rolo.
Sales communications manager Graham Walker said: "We know this type of promotion is popular with parents. Not only does it add value to their kids' favourite treat, but the reward also goes towards keeping them occupied with a fun activity during their summer holiday."
