Brewing giant Carlsberg-Tetley has promoted Colin Povey from commercial director to chief executive.
Michael Iuul relinquishes his role as UK chairman to spend more time in the Far East following the formation of Carlsberg Asia, of which he is now chief executive officer. While he remains on the UK board, the chairmanship will pass to former chief executive Ebbe Dinesen. Group managing director for the European region, Nils Andersen, will join the board, while operations director John Smith will take early retirement in April.
Three new people will join the Carlsberg-Tetley UK executive committee: production director Kasper Madsen, planning director Andrew Caswell and logistics director Jon Gibson.
