New Covent Garden Soup Company is getting behind Comic Relief 2001 with a Red Nose Day soup.
It is to donate 33p per pack of the Squashed Tomato and Basil Soup to Comic Relief's latest campaign to "say pants to poverty".
The soup special, featuring a prominent Comic Relief logo, will be in available at usual distribution channels between January 14 and April 22.
It is priced at £1.65.
Comic Relief will plough money raised into its work promoting social welfare and tackling poverty in the UK and Africa.
Annual Red Nose fundraising events have been running since 1985.
Kate Raison, marketing director at New Covent Garden Soup Company, said: "We are delighted with our association with Comic Relief, and that profits will help those in need.
"We expect an extremely good consumer response to the promotion."
New Covent Garden this month launched a Christmas limited edition fresh parsnip and cranberry soup.
The new recipe (rsp £1.55) will be available until January 15 to target shoppers after a winter warmer.
