F A Gill, the Wolverhampton-based pork producer, has introduced three new department head roles in a bid to develop the “strategic direction” of the 130-year-old business.
FMCG consultant Graham Stonadge, who has 12 years’ experience working with brands including Walkers, Marston’s, Nestle and Twinings, has joined as head of sales and marketing and will be responsible for helping the sales team deliver the growth, F A Gill said.
Former site manager Wayne Bateman, who has worked for the company for 27 years, has been promoted to head of production and logistics, while accountant Gordon Power, who joined in 2012, has been appointed head of finance and admin to “help facilitate the introduction of new and updated processes to enhance the overall business”.
“The new executive team has been put in place to help ensure the future stability and growth of the F A Gill Ltd business,” said managing director Alan Paget. “Working with the current directors, it will develop the strategic direction that will enable F A Gill to continue to build on its long and successful traditions within the British meat industry.”
“Wayne, Gordon and Graham have already begun the process of establishing their teams and I am looking forward optimistically to the coming months and years.”
