Wrigley is heralding the success of its new Extra Thin Ice strips ­ by rolling out another variant less than three months after launch.
Spearmint flavour will go into the soluble strip format from next month. The company claims the current Peppermint offering is already outselling the same flavour in Extra gum.
Head of communications Jo Hartop said: "This new launch is part of our ongoing commitment to innovation and expansion outside of our core chewing gum business. Extra Thin Ice Peppermint is already ranked as the fastest selling mint and gum line."
Wrigley is supporting Extra Thin Ice with a £5m advertising spend this year.
