Cornish gin brand Tarquin’s has unveiled a new look to celebrate its fifth anniversary.
It’s core Dry Gin has been given a new bottle designed to play up “the distillery’s heritage on the wild Cornish coast”, made of sea glass with an embossed puffin design and a wax seal (rsp: £31.75/70cl).
Every bottle is numbered and signed by master distiller Tarquin Leadbetter, and features tasting notes.
The brand has also appointed former Bombay Sapphire master distiller and Beefeater distilllery manager Nik Fordham as its head of operations.
It comes as British gin exports hit £279m in the first half of 2018 - a rise of 19%, latest WSTA figures reveal, with the trade body predicting the figure could reach £600m for the first time by the year’s end.
