Specialist producer Peppadew is to launch a variety of Sweet Piquanté peppers this month. The variety has a mellow sweet flavour and tangy piquancy, according to the company. The peppers come from the Capsicum Anuum family and have been developed in South Africa as part of an ongoing NPD programme costing more than £500,000.
