We don't expect a significant increase in pre Christmas sales where we are. We put special offers on via James Hall and the first week in December is when the special beer prices start. James Hall is not doing its usual roadshow this year. Instead it is putting the money into discounts and better deals. I've heard we are doing a special on a 15-pack of Carling Black Label. It would help to be able to order in advance. Last week we were ordering Easter eggs, but we are still waiting to order Christmas booze. I used to think chiller cabinets were unimportant but four years ago we put four bottle coolers in and sales rocketed ­ mostly between 20%-25% ­ and that's remained. For the last two years Stella Artois in cans has been our bestseller ­ 12 to 14 cases every week. {{FOCUS SPECIALS }}
