Nim’s Fruit Crisps is launching what it says are the UK’s first air-dried vegetable crisps to be produced on a major commercial scale.
Made from 100% vegetables, the new range comes in three variants: Tomato & Cucumber, Pepper & Courgette and Beetroot & Parsnip. They roll out next month in 20g to 22g bags (rsp: £1.15).
Nim’s opened its own manufacturing site in Kent last October, with machinery that made it the only British facility able to air-dry fruit and vegetables on a large scale, according to founder Nimisha Raja.
“Our new facility has allowed for rapid NPD as well as continuing to offer the ability to seal in the authentic taste of the vegetables,” said Raja.
