Costcutter retailers were out in force at the Nisa-Today's event and the group's MD Colin Graves was in a bullish mood.
"We have 920 stores and are processing a further 50 applications. We have a presence on the Isle of Wight with three stores, but that figure will double within three months."
Graves said retail turnover was more than £600m. He was particularly pleased with progress in Northern Ireland (118 stores) and Scotland (93 outlets), but said the Costcutter franchise agreement in the Republic of Ireland (23 stores) and Poland (40 outlets) had taken longer than expected to become established.
