The Nisa Members Association now has representation at board level, after Nisa-Today's made a number of changes to its board of directors at its annual general meeting held in Scunthorpe this week.
As Dudley Ramsden retired as executive chairman of the group, NMA members Rowan Black, MD of JT Green & Sons, and Krishan Joshi, senior partner for the Windmill Group, were elected to the board. They were joined by two further directors - Joginder Singh, financial director for Michael Supermarket, and Sucha Singh, MD of Thames Cash & Carry.
Nisa-Today's plans to hold an extraordinary general meeting early next year to appoint three new directors to the board to reflect the diversity of the group.
NMA member Anjum Khan, MD of Longhours, has been proposed to take one of the places, together with Jim Amabile, MD of PGMA (Scotland) and Peter Sykes, MD of Colin Sykes.
Ramsden will take on an ambassadorial role for the company as a non-executive president.
