The Happy Egg Co branded range will be available from 13 January in Morrisons

Noble Foods has unveiled an expansion into the frozen aisle with the launch of prepared omelettes.

The Happy Egg Co branded range will be available from 13 January in Morrisons.

The frozen omelettes are available in two-packs and four-packs and use free-range eggs, British extra mature cheddar, and milk.

They were created to cater to the increasing popularity of air fryers, although they can also be cooked in a microwave or oven – all while “preserving the omelettes’ light and fluffy texture”.

“This launch represents a transformative moment for Noble Foods, with our commitment to innovation and sustainability,” said Anita Nutchey, head of marketing & innovation at Noble Foods. “With the debut of our first-ever frozen omelettes, we are answering consumer demand for convenient, high-protein, and nutritious meal solutions that fit modern lifestyles.”

According to Noble, there are 209 million omelette occasions in the UK each year. The Happy Egg Co hopes to meet demand for convenient, premade omelettes, particularly as 60% of consumers find making fresh omelettes inconvenient.

“Our goal was to create an innovative solution that meets the needs of busy, health-conscious individuals looking for tasty, affordable meal options,” said Nutchey.

The brand said the products had been through extensive sensory testing, with consumers praising the taste, texture and overall quality of the product.

The addition to Noble Foods’ branded portfolio follows significant investment in its innovation and manufacturing hub located in Leicestershire, designed to produce a range of new egg-based foods.

“The state-of-the-art Leicester facility underscores our vision to redefine food innovation, blending the humble egg with a deep understanding of evolving consumer trends,” she added. “This is more than a product launch; it’s a bold step toward shaping the future of innovative and accessible foods.”
