Noble Foods has teamed up with Disney UK to launch a new free range egg line under the Disney Kitchen brand.
The 10-pack of British Lion eggs carries branding for Disney’s upcoming Frozen 2 movie, and aims to encourage children to enjoy eggs more regularly, Noble said.
The eggs went on sale this week in 422 Asda stores (rsp: £2). The supplier said it was also in talks with other retailers.
“Children under 15 are missing out on roughly 110 million egg meal occasions annually,” said Noble marketing controller Matt Davis. “This launch allows us to support parents by offering an unprocessed product made more enticing with Disney characters children love,” he added. This collaboration aligns with Disney’s Healthy Living commitment, whereby their incredible characters and storytelling can encourage positive behaviour for families.”
The Disney Kitchen brand was unveiled at the start of 2018 and aims to bring together the media giant’s various food licensing deals under one identifiable banner. Frozen 2 launches in UK cinemas on 22 November.
