Grocery Naked Life 2

The cocktails are low in both calories and sugar

Naked Life, a market leader in non-alcoholic cocktails in Australia, is to make its debut in the UK on Ocado.

The online-only retailer will list the brand’s non-alcoholic Classic G&T, Mojito, Margarita and Passionfruit Martini cocktails from this month (rsp: £6.50/4x250ml).

Naked Life’s “botanically distilled, low sugar, low calorie” cocktails were designed to “allow you to celebrate your way – with friends, family or for your midweek wind-down drink at home”, the brand said.

They would seek to tap into the growing UK market for non-alcoholic beverages, which was worth £380m and set to grow at a CAGR of 7% between 2024 and 2028, it added, citing Mintel and IWSR data.

“Ocado is the perfect launch partner for Naked Life in the UK, with the right media plan to drive awareness and trial this is going to be a huge success,” said David Andrew, CEO and founder of Naked Life. “We cannot wait to offer UK consumers the chance to celebrate their way with a can.”

Naked Life was founded by Andrew in Melbourne in 2016 and is now stocked in major Australian supermarket chains such as Woolworths and Coles. In 2023, the brand raised A$3m (£1.5m) via equity crowdfunding to support global expansion plans.

In September, it launched in the US as part of an exclusive distribution tie-up with Molson Coors.
