Norac Foods Group has appointed Jean-Pascal Allemand as UK MD.
Allemand will lead Norac Foods UK, a subsidiary of the family-owned French bakery business.
Allemand brings 36 years of food industry experience to the role. He has spent the past 26 years working for Norac Foods’ flagship La Boulangère brand, culminating as its commercial export director.
Prior to joining La Boulangère in 1998, Allemand was regional director for tinned tuna supplier Petit Navire.
“I am very proud to be taking on the management of the Norac Group’s UK operation,” said Allemand.
“With the support of our 23 factories in France, my goal is to secure and expand the presence of our products with our retail partners.
“Our focus is on strategically growing our brands in the UK, where we know British shoppers already love our offerings,” Allemand added.
It comes after Norac Foods has spent recent months expanding and improving its UK product portfolio.
Norac Foods’ filled crêpe brand Whaoo was given a redesign in April in a bid to “drive standout on shelf”.
