Norbert Dentressangle has invested a multi-million pound sum in 153 trailers to help it fulfil its contract with Carlsberg.
The new eco-friendly trailers, which are supplied by the Cartwright Group, are fitted with front and rear air management equipment and will “maximise truck payload due to their lightweight construction,” according to the French logistics company.
The vehicles will be in full Carlsberg livery, promoting the recent That Calls for a Carlsberg advertising campaign.
The distributor, which secured a five-year contract with Carlsberg last year, is responsible for managing the flow of materials into and out of the Carlsberg brewery and national distribution centre in Northampton.
It also works with Kellogg’s in the UK, operating two 300,000 sq ft warehouses in the north west, and in September announced it had started handling Kellogg’s retail and wholesale customers throughout Germany.
“We continue to invest in the latest equipment in order to deliver the best possible service to our customers,” said Mark Callow, head of fleet for Norbert Dentressangle Logistics UK.
