Spreads startup Nuccy is entering the market with a trio of ‘adaptogenic’ nut butters.
The vegan and palm oil-free spreads – Almond Coco, Peanut Coco and Hazel Coco – combine organic ingredients with “the natural benefits of ashwagandha”.
The ashwagandha plant, which “was recognised as a natural aid for both the mind and immune system”, had been “specially selected by Nuccy for its calming properties”, it said.
The spreads also include toasted coconut to add “unique flavour and sweetness” without the need for sugar.
The spreads have launched via the brand’s website (rsp: £7.50-£8.50/170ml).
