WT Foods Group is expanding its energy milk drink brand Nurishment with the launch of a new ice cream.
Nurishment ice cream comes in four flavours vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and mango. It has an 18 month shelf life and it will be positioned as a functional ice cream.
WT Foods group planning manager Tim Smith said: "It offers all the nutritional benefits of Nurishment but in a self indulgent form."
It plans a support campaign for Nurishment ice cream which features regional ads and sports sponsorship and is aimed at its core 20 to 40 year old target audience.
Smith said he was confident he could turn Nurishment (currently worth £25m) into a £100m brand.
