Popular BBC TV gardening programme Ground Force, which stars Alan Titchmarsh and Charlie Dimmock, is transferring to print format and will appear as a fortnightly partwork from February 16.
Appearing in 60 parts, the Ground Force magazine will be supported by massive advertising including a heavyweight £1.25m TV and radio campaign running for 10 days around the launch.
The partwork is being produced by GE Fabbri, the publisher behind the newly launched Changing Rooms partwork.
Each issue will offer a complete guide to gardening, focusing on plant varieties and garden design as well as advising on techniques.
Part one will carry a special introductory price of 99p, which rises to £1.99 from part two.
Free gifts will be a regular feature of the magazine, with free binders available in parts two, 12, 24, 36 and 48, packets of seeds with part three, and divider cards with part four.
Ground Force will be distributed by Comag, with parts one to six available on SoR.
