One Stop has opened a new franchise in a former Sainsbury’s Local site.
Local businessman Roger Lambert took over the Sainsbury’s Local site in Rawmarch after it ceased trading in early June.
Lambert won the bid for the site from the local council and offered all ex-Sainsbury’s staff the opportunity to work in the new store.
Following a refit, the store now features a Tchibo coffee unit, Slush Puppie machine, a MyHermes parcel delivery service and a wide range of local food and drink.
“The site is perfect for a convenience store with the right mix. I wanted to get back into retail and saw the model One Stop offers and it felt like the perfect fit,” said Lambert.
“They are experts, I know I have the right products at the right price and I’m offering my customers great value, what more could you want?”
