Geest fresh produce division has appointed Kate O’Shea to the position of general manager at English Village Salads, suppliers of Asda’s whole head salad category.
She takes over from Kathryn Gray, who has moved on to become general manager of
Geest’s International Division. O’Shea joined Geest in 1995 as general manager of the produce division, horticulture, where she worked closely with growers in the UK as well as growers in Holland, Spain, Kenya and South America.
Graeme Townson has also joined English Village Salads as financial controller.
He previously worked at Geest’s Alresford Salads.
Yorkshire Fresh Salads, another company within Geest's fresh produce division, has appointed Neil McKay as a new product development manager. Before joining Geest, McKay worked with Young’s Bluecrest on innovation and blue sky development.
