Gary Urmston has joined William Jackson Food Group as financial director. He joins following three years at Northern Foods where he held senior finance positions including FD of the Recipe Dish business and FD of the chilled division.

Anthony Sills and Erik Blomberg have joined Langholm Capital as associates. Sills previously spent four years at McQueen, while Blomberg spent three years at Citigroup in London, where he was part of the Nordic Investment Banking team.

Anthony Keeling, chairman of Elsoms Seeds, has passed over his MD responsibilities to Robin Wood. Wood moves up from the role of deputy MD. He has also held the vegetable seeds director role.

Potato supplier Branston has appointed Adrian Hayler as general manager of its prepared foods division. He joins from Utopia where he worked for seven years developing accounts with Tesco and M&S.

William Grant & Sons has appointed Ludovic Ducrocq as its first global ambassador for Grant's Blended Scotch Whisky.

The Scallop Strategy Group has appointed Dr Andrew Woolmer to develop a Code of Conduct to promote sustainable scallop fisheries. Dr Woolmer will review current working practices and identify where potential change to current practices could deliver a more respected fishery.
