Morrisons trading director Andrew Pleasance is to take up the new role of senior trading director for operations. Grant Eastwood moves from licensed trades to the new role of trading projects and change director, while Simon Harrison will become licensed trade and trade strategy director.

Chris Sorek has replaced Jean Collingwood as CEO of responsible drinking charity The Drinkaware Trust. He has more than 25 years' experience in communications, public affairs and community relations programmes working for the private sector and civil societies, most recently for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Vion has made changes to its executive board of directors. CEO and chairman Daan van Doorn and CFO and vice chairman Ton Lammers both step down at the end of the year. Uwe Tillmann, COO of Vion fresh meat and convenience, will be appointed chairman and Dirk Kloosterboer, COO of Vion ingredients, will become vice chairman. Board member Geert Janssen also steps down but will continue to work for Vion as an advisor.

The International Dairy Federation has elected Richard Doyle as its new president. Doyle is currently executive director of Dairy Farmers of Canada and has 32 years' dairy industry experience. He replaces Dairy UK director general Jim Begg.

Gary Kennedy has been named non-executive director for Greencore. He is also a non-executive director for Irish biotechnology company Elan and was group director of finance and enterprise technology at Allied Irish Banks from May 1997 to December 2005.

Wine importer D&D Wines International has named Andrea Rigby as business manager. Rigby joins D&D Wines from Princes, where she was national account manager for Tesco. She will also be working on the Tesco account in her new role.

Danske Slagterier, the Danish Bacon & Meat Council, has appointed Asger Krogsgaard as chairman. Krogsgaard is a farmer with around 1,700 sows in Western Jutland and has sat on the board of Danske Slagterier since 2006.
