Oxo has rebranded and reformulated its wet stock range – and added a White Wine Flavour.
The reformulated stocks – Succulent Chicken with Bay & Parsley (Reduced Salt), Garden Vegetables with Parsley & Bay, Original Beef with Herbs, Original Beef with Herbs (Reduced Salt), Rich Beef with Rosemary & Onion, and Red Wine – along with the new White Wine stock, have rolled into supermarkets (rsp: £1.10-£2.00/4x20g-8x20g).
Through the relaunch, Oxo said it aimed to “drive growth in this area by bringing the brand’s large shopper base to a developing part of the category”.
The expanded range would help it “meet growing demand for new flavours”, it added.
As the trend towards scratch-cooking continued to grow, shoppers were “keen to experiment with new dishes, cuisines and products from brands they know and trust”, said Oxo brand director Helen Touchais.
Oxo was “well-known for delivering high-quality, bold flavours that are ideal for family meal occasions”, she added.
The stalwart stock brand is also expanding its range of rubs and marinades.
A trio of rubs – in Sizzling Shwarma, Smoked Hickory Chipotle and Deep Cajun flavours – and a trio of marinades – in Sticky Teryaki, Honey Glazed and Sweet & Tangy BBQ – will roll into retailers on 9 June (rsp: £2.09/35g-270ml).
It comes after Oxo moved into rubs and marinades last year in a bid to tap the home-cooking boom.
