Chris Adams, Palmer & Harvey McLane executive chairman, has announced a new management structure after setting up two new trading companies, as exclusively revealed in The Grocer, May 13.
The new P&H Retail Services will comprise YP Electronics, P&H Symbol, P&H Buying Group and P&H e-commerce Development. P&H Direct will own P&H Snacks-direct and develop its van sales.
Graham McPherson has been appointed group managing director, while Stan Murton becomes managing director of the new P&H Buying Group. Graham Brain, currently P&H operations director, becomes development director of P&H Direct.
Within Palmer & Harvey McLane, Peter Austen becomes commercial director, and Andrew Bradmore has been appointed operations director.
Luke Murphy is beers, wines and spirits director and general manager of Winerite. Gerry Atkinson becomes deputy chairman of Winerite and remains on the Palmer & Harvey McLane board.
Bill Ellis continues his role as independent sales director with Ace and Symbol and is appointed a director of P&H Retail Services. Bill Marshall continues as md of YP Electronics and joins the board of P&H Retail Services. Kate Riall leaves the Winerite board to head the P&H e-commerce programme.
