Palmer & Harvey McLane, the UK's biggest wholesaler, has three launches planned for its Pro Retail trade show next week.
Its direct-to-store scheme, Ace, will be relaunched as Plus Extra, a free scheme that will provide low, centrally negotiated prices on products including milk, flowers and sandwiches.
The scheme will provide a "much better package overall" according to a P&H spokeswoman. The company also plans to switch to monthly statements, reducing paperwork for retailers.
The wholesaler is also planning to launch a free bespoke news and magazine scheme called Plus News, and a new company website.
