Parfetts has brought in a range of new hires to support its Go Local and The Local retailers.
The wholesaler has appointed three new regional managers who will oversee a network of 25 regional development advisors.
Joining with 14 years of experience as Bestway’s regional controller, Christine Reast will manage the east region.
Meanwhile Parfetts former lead retail development advisor Richard Huxley has been promoted to regional manager for the Midlands.
Steve Miller will manage the north west region after previously holding a number of senior positions at Parfetts.
The wholesaler said the new recruits would work with and listen to retailers’ feedback, whilst also implementing changes to drive sales.
As part of the expansion, the business will also employ a further three regional development advisors and a new retail sales controller.
It comes as the wholesaler expands southwards, with its new Birmingham depot opening in the spring.
“We are focused on supporting retailers and helping them get the most out of their relationship with Parfetts,” said Parfetts head of retail Steve Moore.
“Our fast-growing fascias, Go Local and The Local, are easy to join and offer a host of benefits. As we grow, it’s vital we have the best people in place to support our retailers and provide great service.
“These changes create a robust platform for growth for the Go Local symbol brands over the next few years. As a business, we are attracting retailers who are trading under other symbol banners or are unaffiliated retailers looking for the right range, price and promotions to allow them to take more money and make more money.”
