Indian food brand Patak's is going upmarket with a new range of fusion' cooking sauces.
The five-strong range includes orange zest korma, red wine rogan josh, saffron tikka masala, premium beer and mushroom balti and grilled pepper jalfrezi. The premium sauces roll out next week with an rsp of £2.09 for each 425g jar.
Patak's is also extending its £1.49 for 540g core family range' to include Goan pineapple, kashmiri butter, pasanda, karia, jalfrezi and dopiaza. Senior brand manager Tamsin Daniel said: "Consumers are seeking something different from the Indian food fixture."
