Patisserie Valerie is to introduce a loyalty app to offer customers personalised rewards.
The combined mobile payment and loyalty app will launch in February 2019 at 155 of its 200 stores in the UK and Ireland.
The café chain has implemented the programme with Yoyo Wallet mobile payments to capture fully anonymised customer basket data, enabling it to analyse and segment purchasing behaviour to deliver personalised rewards, offers and in-store experiences. It will also offer secure, straight-through mobile payment, automated loyalty accumulation, instant rewards redemption and digital receipt collection in a single point of sale through the scheme.
“Patisserie Valerie is thrilled to announce our partnership with Yoyo, which is the first in a range of initiatives we will be launching over the next few months to enhance our in-store customer experience,” said CEO of Patisserie Holdings Steve Francis. “The platform offers the perfect blend of speed, convenience and rewards - a thank you to our loyal customers.”
CEO of Yoyo Michael Rolph added: “Retailers are aware, now more than ever, that they need to innovate and deliver truly exceptional customer experiences if they are to prosper.”
