Pernod Ricard is to promote anti-drink driving measures at nightclubs and bars in France where its brands are sold.
The French drinks group has teamed up with authorities in France under the slogan ‘the one who's driving, is the one who isn't drinking’ to campaign on the dangers of drinking and driving through posters, key rings and free breathalyzers.
Pernod said non-alcoholic drinks would be available at bars and clubs for designated drivers identified by a bracelet.
Chairman of Pernod Patrick Ricard said: “I am convinced that increased effort on the part of all of our subsidiaries to prevent drink-driving will contribute to permanently changing behaviour, particularly amongst young people."
