Perween Warsi, the founder of chilled ethnic food supplier S&A Foods, has developed a range of ambient curry pastes.
Perween’s Cooking Secrets, a range of freshly blended Indian spice mixes with oil, comprises four traditional Indian recipes: traditional handi, balti, jalfrezi and madras (rsp: £2.95/100g serving three).
Unlike many jars and curry paste sauces currently available, the products, produced by S&A’s sister company Zahra Foods, were free from artificial flavourings, colourings and preservatives, and were not processed, said Warsi.
The range will be launched at the Guild of Fine Food’s Harrogate Speciality Food Show on 23-24 June.
