Dame Shirley Bassey has sung the praises of Peter's Pies for launching a pie range to help raise funds for sick children.
At 225g, the pies are 25% larger than Peter's previous offerings, but will be priced the same (rsp: £1.39).
They will be available from 14 November in five flavours and will carry the logo of the Noah's Ark Appeal, which raises funds to help a Cardiff children's hospital.
The company will donate 1p to the appeal for every pie sold and is hoping to raise at least £50,000 a year for three years.
Noah's Ark Appeal patron Dame Shirley said she was delighted to hear Caerphilly-based Peter's was backing the charity.
"The support of Peter's, a local company, will help the appeal raise significant money for the Children's Hospital for Wales, specifically for children needing high-dependency or intensive care," she added.
