Alex Kapranos, singer and guitarist for indie band Franz Ferdinand, this week launched The Co-operative Group's partnership with British Music Experience, which promotes the history, science and culture of British pop music. The society will give away 15,000 free tickets to the British Music Experience at the O2 as part of the initiative. "It's good to take a bit of the mystery out of songwriting while still enjoying its magic," Kapranos said.
