Pinkster has added a duo of lower-alcohol Spritz drinks.
Its new range comprises two flavours – Raspberry & Hibiscus and Elderflower & Raspberry – which come in at 24% abv (rsp: £28/70cl).
They were made with gin-soaked raspberries left over from Pinkster’s gin production, and are billed as being ideally served in a ‘Pinkster Spritz’ with soda water and lime.
Pinkster MD Stephen Marsh said the drinks offered “a mainstream alternative for spritz drinkers with discerning tastebuds”.
“With more and more people trying to lead healthier lifestyles and cutting back on alcohol, all consumer insight indicates that lower-abv and lower-calorie drinks are totally on trend.”
The launch will be backed by a marketing push with the tagline ‘what’s your excuse to spritz?’.
