Languedoc brand La Baume is promising the latest releases in its £6.99 Selection range combine the best of French and New World techniques.
Waitrose is the first UK stockist of the two wines - La Baume Selection White 2002 which is a blend of Marsanne, Roussanne and Chardonnay and Selection Red 2001, made of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Tim North, UK director for parent company Les Grands Chais de France, said: “Grapes are vinified and blended by our experienced wine-making team. The result is a range which combines the best of New World techniques and French savoir-faire.”
