Kids Shots (rsp: £1.75/60ml) will hit Tesco on 12 May

Plenish has added a range of juice shots for kids and revamped its dosing bottles.

Launching in Berry and Mango, Kids Shots (rsp: £1.75/60ml) are fortified with essential vitamins and minerals with no added sugar or preservatives.

Plenish fortified the shots with a selected a blend of vitamins and minerals that are essential for children, to address potential nutrient deficiencies.

As such, each shot provides 100% of a child’s recommended intake of vitamin D, vitamin C, iron and zinc.

The shots also last outside the fridge for eight hours, making them suitable for packed lunches.

Plenish has also expanded its core range of juice shots with Ginger Energy, which contains a natural source of caffeine from yerba mate, and provides 100% of adults’ recommended intake of vitamin B6, vitamin C and iron.

The NPD was intended to replace an afternoon coffee or provide “a pre-workout kick”, said Plenish.

All three shots will launch exclusively into Tesco on 12 May.

Finally, Plenish has replaced its 300ml dosing bottle format with a new seven-shot (420ml) version, offering “greater value and convenience”.

The 420ml bottles have already rolled into Sainsbury’s and will hit Tesco in mid-May.

“The launch of Kids Shots, Ginger Energy, and our new multi-serve dosing format marks a significant next step in the shots category – one that Plenish is uniquely positioned to lead,” said Russell Goldman, MD of breakthrough brands at Plenish owner Carlsberg Britvic.

“These new innovations are designed to unlock new occasions, attract new audiences, and make functional wellness even more accessible.”

The launches will be backed by the continuation of Plenish’s ‘Give it a shot’ campaign, which launched in January.

An out-of-home creative, live across London in May and June, will promote the purported health and lifestyle benefits of Plenish’s new shots.
