Popchips is kicking off its first TV ad campaign, called Snack Magic.
The £1m push will run from Monday until 8 February across channels including ITV, ITV Be, Channel 5, and Sky Atlantic. The ad, created by the Dandelion Agency, features the snack in a range of funny situations involving couples.
“Popchips has gone from strength to strength since its UK launch in 2012 and we hope to continue that momentum with our first UK advertising campaign,” said Will Bowler, Popchips general manager for the UK and Europe. “Popchips has already established a loyal following in the UK and we hope the advert will introduce our snack to an even wider audience, especially as the nation will be turning to healthier alternatives over the next few months.”
Sales of Popchips rose 43.5% last year to £6.5m [Nielsen 52 w/e 11 October 2014].
