A five-strong range of posh ambient table sauces to accompany traditional English dishes has been developed under the Epicure brand.
The range of ‘definitive condiments’ is positioned as the ultimate selection of table sauces to suit a variety of dishes, according to brand owner Petty Wood. The collection comprises Hollandaise Sauce and Béarnaise Sauce (rsp: £1.79 for 190g), Marie Rose Seafood
Sauce with Brandy (rsp: £1.69 for 190g,) Apple Sauce with Calvados (rsp: £1.75 for 210g) and Mint Sauce with Fresh English Mint (rsp: £1.59 for 200g). They have been designed to accompany classic dishes such as roast lamb, eggs Benedict, steak and prawn cocktail.
“We’ve created a range that we believe really embodies the Epicure brand,” said Epicure brand manager John Holland-Pemble. “The sauces will appeal to consumers who demand convenience but also a product of premium quality.”
