Posh tonic brand Lamb & Watt has added a Ginger Ale to its portfolio of mixers.
The NPD is made with natural spring water from the Lake District and organic blue agave. It has rolled out in 200ml bottles priced at £1.25 or £3.99 for a 4x200ml multipack.
It would ideally be paired with spirits, but could also function on its own as a soft drink, said the brand.
Recent growth for Lamb & Watt had “positioned us well to make Ginger Ale another big hit in the premium mixer market” added its senior marketing manager Leanne Ware.
“The warming, ginger flavour brings a sophisticated and distinctive taste that perfectly complements classic spirit serves and cocktails, enhancing and balancing individual flavours.”
It comes as sales of posh mixers are booming, with sales of tonic alone passing the £100m mark this year as Brits glugged down an extra 17.7 million litres, boosted by skyrocketing sales of craft spirits - particularly gin [Kantar Worldpanel 52 w/e 13 August].
