Poundland has rolled out 100 new lines to its range of groceries, including Kellogg’s cornflakes, Heinz soups and McVities biscuits.
The expansion takes its total range of food and drink to over 350 lines. Everything is priced at either £1 or available as multi-buy offers.
Other new brands include Loyd Grossman, Princes, Ritz, Hovis and Nescafe.
“Grocery is a growth category for Poundland and customers actively come into our stores looking for top brand everyday essentials at amazing value prices,” said trading director Richard Lancaster.
“Initial performance clearly indicates that our customers love the variety and breadth of the range. We will continue to listen to our customers to ensure we’re always improving our offering to meet their needs.”
