Poundland has announced a partnership with the Health Lottery, with tickets available in 280 stores from tomorrow.
The discounter will roll out the service, which allows customers to win up to £100,000 while raising money for local health causes, to all 485 of its UK stores by March 2014.
“Now that we are ‘the one-pound lottery’, where better to sell Health Lottery tickets than at Poundland?” said Andy Mallows, sales director for The Health Lottery.
Richard Lancaster, trading director at Poundland, added: “At Poundland we pride ourselves on offering amazing value every day so we have our fingers crossed that it’s one of our shoppers who scoops the £100,000 prize.”
In October, the price of a National Lottery ticket doubled to £2 as part of a major relaunch.
