Premier Foods is expanding its Halloween cake offer with two new lines from 15 September.

Mr Kipling Choc and Slime Slices are lime-flavoured sponges with a green drizzled chocolate topped icing; its licensed Cadbury Shock Orange Mini Rolls are chocolate sponge with orange creme (both rsp: £1).

Premier category marketing director Matthew Critchley said small cakes had driven last year’s 1.9% growth in the Halloween packaged cakes market.
