Premier Foods’ commercial director Stephen Bolton has become managing director of MBM, its potato processing and packaging subsidiary, based in March, Cambridgeshire.
He replaces Ian Craig, who will leave the company immediately along with John Evans, trading director, and Robert Beeson, Norfolk director.
The sudden departures follow last week’s announcement that John Manchett, chairman and one of the company founders, would retire on June 25. Bolton’s move follows Dominic Box’s appointment as general manager for Premier Foods’ tea,
beverages, spreads and desserts portfolio, responsible for marketing for brands such as Typhoo and Ambrosia.
Bolton’s replacement has not yet been chosen and no reason has been given for the changes.
