French dairy brand Président is to launch a new diced goat’s cheese as it looks to provide consumers with high-quality convenience.
Made in France with 100% goat’s milk, the Goat’s Cheese Cubes are said to offer a mild, creamy taste as well as a versatility designed to make goat’s cheese more accessible to shoppers (rsp: £2.25/120g).
Packed into a pot which has what is described as a “unique, no-mess drainable system”, the SKU will be available from Waitrose on Wednesday (1 April).
Président’s UK distributor, Lactalis UK & Ireland, said the NPD was motivated by its own marketing research, which found consumers were willing to pay a premium for quality products that save them time and effort.
“It is an exciting new launch for us in the goat’s cheese category. It will resonate with consumers looking for high-quality, easy and tasty dairy items,” said Lactalis group marketing director Heloise Le Norcy-Trott.
“This is the first in a raft of exciting new products that Président is launching in 2020, all of which will make consumers’ lives easier without compromising on taste.”
Président has also secured a listing in Waitrose for its Crème Aerosol Cream (rsp: £2/250g).
The NPD launches come a matter of weeks after the brand unveiled a £2.5m advertising campaign for 2020, which saw it renew its existing sponsorship of Channel 4 cooking show Come Dine With Me for a third year.
