Princes soft drinks marketing director David Patmore has decided to leave the company after 10 years of service.

Patmore, who leaves at the end of the month, has not secured another position as yet. He has been the marketing director of the company's soft drinks section for the past two years, with responsibility for brands such as Ocean Spray, Aqua-Pura and Virgin Cola.

Princes is soon to launch a new isotonic drink, called Riviva, to extend its soft drinks range.

"I have decided to leave the company, mainly because it is relocating from Bradford to Liverpool and I felt this wasn't the right option for me," he said.

Patmore will be replaced by Chris Wright who, prior to his most recent role as sales director, worked as marketing manager for Princes' canned meat, fish and fruit ranges and marketing director for Princes' manufacturing division.

There have been other key appointments throughout the company, including Colin Brown, who has been externally appointed to take over as general manager for juices and squashes.

He replaces Joanne Wailin, who is moving to a sales roles within the company. Mark Doughty has been promoted to head of the carbonates and water division.
