Gourmet popcorn brand Propercorn has secured a listing with Waitrose.

Two of the brand’s four variants - Sour Cream & Chive and Fiery Worcester Sauce & Sun-Dried Tomato - will be rolling out to 80 Waitrose stores next month (rsp: 95p/20g).

The range is positioned as a healthy high-fibre wholegrain snack that can aid digestion and reduce bloating. It contains ingredients such as chives, roasted onions and crème fraiche rather than artificial flavourings, said founder Cassandra Stavrou.

A Sweet & Salty and a Lightly Sea Salted variant completes the Propercorn line-up, which is also set to go on sale in Eurostar trains and all Harvey Nichols stores.
