Swedish dairy Skanemejerier has earmarked a £3m investment behind its non dairy probiotic fruit drink ProViva.
New variants are expected this year of ProViva currently available in strawberry and blackcurrant which has seen sales rise 28% in the last 12 months (rsp: £1.99)
A £1m consumer press campaign for the brand with the strapline Conquer the World' breaks this month.
The company also plans to introduce an organic oat milk to the UK.
Oatly is aimed at the one in five of the population who are said to be lactose intolerant.
It will be distributed by Food Brokers (which also distributes ProViva) and will initially be available in Waitrose and Tesco (rsp: £1.39 for 1 litre).
