Comedian Al Murray is the celebrity face of this year’s British Sausage Week.
He will front the Bpex-organised campaign as his alter ego - The Pub Landlord - from 5 to 11 November, drawing attention to quality-assured sausages through a nationwide tour and the British Sausage Week awards.
The theme this year is “standing up for the British banger”, and Murray said consumers should support British pig farmers struggling with soaring costs.
