After 11 years as the official water of the London Marathon, Nestlé Waters Vittel has been replaced by the company's Pure Life brand.
Nestlé said the sponsorship would drive awareness of Pure Life, which made its UK debut in January 2008 in Asda, followed by a full roll-out at the end of 2008.
"Pure Life is focused on hydrating the nation and is the ideal fit with the London Marathon, which attracts people of all ages," said Nestlé Waters head of marketing Rebecca White.
The company's focus for Vittel would remain as an on-the-go brand in 50cl and 75cl sizes, she added.
